RAG chatbots and web development

An assistant that knows your business.

Not a bot that guesses. One that answers from your own pages, prices and policies. Built and trained on your company data.

A general model knows the world. It knows nothing whatsoever about how your organisation actually works.

Closing that gap is a discipline with a name: Retrieval-Augmented Generation. Your material is structured, indexed and made searchable, and the model retrieves from it before it answers. Every response is grounded in your own documents rather than in something a general model half remembers about organisations like yours.

Each system is built and trained around your requirements. A government department directing residents to the right service, a practice working inside its regulator's rules, a retailer handling delivery and returns, a contractor qualifying callouts before anybody drives anywhere. The same advanced architecture underneath, configured and trained for what your organisation genuinely does.

And it is managed by us. Specials on for a week, a revised policy, a Black Friday campaign, new opening hours over Christmas. You email your account manager, we update the model's knowledge, and it is current. No dashboards to learn, no documents to re-upload, and nothing on your team's to do list.

Built and trained on your data

Your documents, products, pricing and policies, structured properly and indexed for retrieval. Not a general model's approximation of an organisation like yours.

It shows its working

Answers can point at the source they came from, so your team can verify anything at a glance and so can the person asking.

Kept current by us

Send your account manager the change and we apply it. Seasonal menus, campaign pricing, revised terms, new services. The model's knowledge is our job, not your admin task.

Improved workflows

Enquiries answered, details captured, and the things that need a person routed to the right one, so your team spends its hours on the work only your team can do.

Working while you are not

The same questions your inbox gets every week, answered accurately at two in the morning, on a bank holiday, and during the week you are away.

Advanced architecture, proven

Five complete sector skeletons covering company profile, products, locations, support, compliance and integrations, extended into custom architecture for whatever you actually need.

Sector templates

Built for any sector, with a running start in five.

We have already built complete skeletons for the five below, so those projects begin further along. Every other sector gets the same standard of work through custom architecture designed around it. Nothing is too big, and nothing is too small.

Food and hospitality
Menus, allergens, opening hours over holidays, and bookings. Where the answer has to be right because someone is standing at a door or holding a phone.
Professional services
Regulated advice, published fees, and the line between information and advice. Built to know which side of that line it is on.
Construction and trades
What you actually do, where you cover, and whether you turn out at midnight. The questions that decide whether an enquiry is worth either party's time.
Retail and ecommerce
Products, delivery, returns and stock. Your platform changes the build materially, so it is one of the first things we ask.
Government and public sector
Government departments, local authorities and public bodies, helping people reach the right service, with UK data sovereignty available as a hard requirement rather than a preference.
Every other sector
Custom architecture, designed and built around what your organisation actually does. Specialists, public bodies, and anything that does not sit neatly in a category get the same advanced systems, shaped to fit rather than squeezed into a template.
If you have not got a website yet

Then that is the first thing, and we build those too.

An assistant needs somewhere to live. If you arrive with nothing, that is not a problem to work around, it is simply where we start. Beginning to end, designed, built, launched and looked after.

What gets built

  • The pages you actually need. About, services, prices, gallery, booking, shop, blog, contact. Not a template with forty plugins that each phone home.
  • Written properly and fast. Accessible, quick on a phone, and light enough that it does not cost your visitors a fortune in data.
  • The assistant sitting on it, if you want one, built from the same material at the same time.
  • Hosting and management arranged and looked after, so there is one account manager to email rather than four suppliers pointing at each other.

What we need from you

  • Whatever you already have. A domain, a logo, photos, some written copy, an active social account. Any of it helps. None of it is required.
  • Sites you like the look of. Competitors count, and are often the most useful thing you can send.
  • How often it will change. This is the question that decides the shape of the arrangement more than any other.
  • Anything it absolutely has to do. One sentence is plenty.

How it is priced

  • Per client, every time. A small business gets the same standard of build as a large one, at a figure that fits the size of the business.
  • A credit in the footer, if you want one. Entirely optional, offered plainly, and it reduces the price. Plenty of people would rather pay full and stay anonymous, which is equally fine.
  • We would rather you had the thing you actually want. Being outgunned on cash flow is not a reason to end up with something worse than the business down the road.
How it works

Most firms answer an enquiry with a meeting. We answer it with something built.

That is the whole difference. It turns the first conversation from "here is what we could build for you" into "here is what we built, what would you change?"

01

Ninety seconds of tick boxes

Six short screens. Your sector, your business, what you want it to do, and where you would like it to run. One free text box, and only if you want it.

02

A person reads it

Every submission is read by one of us, and we go through your public pages and your material by hand. No queue, no automated skim, and nothing behind a login or that you have not agreed to.

03

We build it ourselves

Your architecture, populated from your own material, then trained and tested by hand until it answers properly. Built by people, checked by people.

04

You get a working assistant

With our first reply, not after three meetings. Built from your public pages, so you can see the thing working before any money or time is committed.

05

Then we build the real one

Your full material trained in, deployed where you chose, and managed by us from that day on. You email changes across, we keep it current.

Nothing goes out unchecked

Every build is reviewed by a person before it reaches you, and we work on it until it answers properly. Nothing but the best is good enough is the standard it gets measured against.

We confirm who we are talking to

Anyone can type any address into a form, so we check the enquiry genuinely comes from the business before we look at anything. Your website is yours, and we treat it that way.

Your demo is never a case study

It does not appear in our marketing and you are never named to anybody. We publish no client list and keep no portfolio, whether you become a client or not.

Where it runs, and what is kept

Hosted by us, or built into your own infrastructure.

We host it for you

  • Usually the cheapest route if you do not already meet the hardware requirements to host locally, and the fastest to get running.
  • Your material does not go to a third party AI company. It stays with us, under our client confidentiality agreement with you.
  • Managed, monitored and kept current, with a direct line to your account manager whenever something needs updating.

You host it

  • If you already have the hardware, we build the system and integrate it into what you have.
  • If you do not, we supply it. Specified, built, delivered, installed and implemented on site, anywhere, for any size of organisation.
  • We train your people to run it. The complete package, so the knowledge sits with your team rather than in a manual nobody opens.
  • Or we manage it for you. If you would rather not take that on, a management arrangement keeps it in our hands, delivered on site or through secure remote access, whichever suits you.
  • Quoted per project, because hardware, travel and training are real costs.

What gets stored

  • Conversations can be stored and used for training and analysis, and an advanced memory system lets the model hold context within each conversation. None of it is a requirement. Where training and analytics are not something you need, the chats do not need storing at all, which reduces the cost.
  • Your material is yours. We use it to build your model and nothing else. It is never used for analysis or training outside your own private account with us.
  • Everything is written down. Confidentiality, retention and what happens at the end are all in the agreement before anything is built.
Why the form instead of an email

Nobody enjoys
the four email dance.

The usual first contact is "how much for a chatbot?" and a send button, followed by a fortnight of each side working out what the other meant. The questions below are the ones that genuinely change what gets built or what it costs. Everything else waits for the conversation, and the conversation starts with something already running.

Tell us what you need

Six screens, mostly tick boxes, under ninety seconds.

Nothing here is a commitment and there is no account to create. If a question does not change what we build or what we quote, it is not on the form.

Step 1 of 6

What kind of organisation are you?

This shapes everything that follows. The whole thing takes about a minute.
